This testing is performed between alleged siblings or grandparents to determine biological relationship when the sample for the alleged father or mother cannot be obtained. A legal guardian must be present to sign consent for any child younger than 18 years of age

Non-Invasive Prenatal Paternity (NIPP)
A non-invasive prenatal paternity test determines who the father is before the baby is born. While the mom is pregnant, the DNA profile of the baby is determined from free-floating fetal cells found in the mom’s blood sample.
